On behalf of all members of the Geological Society of Korea, I am delighted to bid for the honor of hosting the 37th International Geological Congress in Busan, South Korea, in 2024.
The Geological Society of Korea (GSK), which was founded in 1947, is Korea’s academic society and professional body for geology. GSK’s main objectives are academic research on basic and applied geology and the distribution of geological technology to aid in the advancement of the field both domestically and abroad.
Korean geological communities are committed to a fruitful collaboration with IUGS and would like to present a splendid opportunity for the sharing of achievements and insights among distinguished colleagues from a broad range of geological subspecialties, in a location of geological significance in Asia.
